Who this policy covers
This policy applies to this website, which is operated by Master Builders of Colorado. It covers information handled through the site itself: pages you view, the saved home styles feature on the homepage, and the contact form.
It does not cover conversations, documents or agreements that may follow once you are talking with us about a project. Those are handled separately. If anything here is unclear, please reach out through the contact page.
Information you choose to send us
The contact form asks for the following details so we can understand your inquiry and reply to it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give one (optional)
- The type of project you have in mind
- Where your project stands today
- The general location of the project
- A message in your own words
Why we ask
We use these details to read your inquiry, reply to it and continue that conversation if you want to. Your email address and optional phone number tell us how to reach you. Project type, stage and general location help us give a useful first answer.
Please do not include sensitive information in the message field, such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers. We do not need them to answer a question about a project.
Where the form sends it
The contact form is being connected. When it is live, what you submit is sent to Master Builders of Colorado so we can reply. If a service provider is used to deliver form messages to us, that provider will be named on this page.
Saved home styles stay in your browser
The homepage lets you save favorite home styles. That list is stored only in your own browser, using a browser feature called local storage. It is not sent to us or to anyone else while it sits there.
There is one exception you control. If you follow a link that carries your saved styles over to the contact page, the list travels in the web address of that page. Web addresses can be recorded in your browser history and may appear in the hosting provider's standard server logs. If you then submit the contact form, we may see the styles you brought with you.
You can remove the saved list at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Information collected automatically
No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts are currently installed on this website, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
Like most websites, the site runs on a hosting provider's servers. That provider may keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, your browser type, the pages you requested and the time of each request. These logs are a normal part of delivering web pages.
Fonts on the site are the system fonts already on your device, and images and videos are served from the site itself. Loading a page does not call out to outside font or media services.
How long we keep information
The length of time we keep contact form messages is being confirmed and will be stated here. Saved home styles stay in your browser until you clear them. Server logs, if kept, are retained according to the hosting provider's own practices.
Your choices
You decide what to send. Every contact form field you fill in is your choice, and the phone number is optional. You can clear saved home styles from your browser whenever you like.
If you have sent us a message and want to ask what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, please make that request through the contact page and we will reply.
Security
We take reasonable care with the information you send. No way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Keeping sensitive details out of your message is the simplest protection.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning a home project. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through the site, please tell us through the contact page so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the way this website handles information changes, for example if an analytics tool is added or the contact form provider changes, we will update this page and the date it was last revised. Please check back from time to time.
